Lacuna Fund Grantee Meeting in New York
The Lacuna Fund, a Meridian project, brought together about 30 representatives from projects and organizations funded at the “2024 Lacuna Fund Grantee Convening.” The meeting took place on September 20 and 21 in New York. The Climaterna project was represented by Dr. Rodolfo Pacagnella, who presented the evolution of the dataset that will be launched in November. Over the two days, the Lacuna Fund grantees shared how their projects are developing data intelligence that can be used to prepare for extreme weather events, predict diseases, and other initiatives. The Lacuna Fund is funded by major organizations such as The Rockefeller Foundation, Google.org, IDRC, Fair Forward, GIZ, Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation, RWJF, and Wellcome Trust.
