Meet the groups behind Climaterna

The Brazilian Institute of Data Science (BI0S), the University of Campinas (Unicamp), and the Foundation for Technological Innovations (FITec) are developing a data repository (reBI0S) and a dataset to assess the impact of climate change on perinatal health in Brazil. This will eventually converge into a Climate Change and Maternal and Perinatal Health Observatory, Climaterna.

BI0S is an applied interdisciplinary research center in artificial intelligence focused on health and agriculture. Its main goal is to develop innovative solutions in data science and artificial intelligence for relevant socio-environmental problems, connecting academia, businesses, startups, society, and the public sector in an integrated innovation ecosystem.
